There are quite a number of good basic instructional videos around. The British Broadcasting Corp.'s ON CAMERA series available from the BBC office in New York is excellent. There are also some other BBC production training videos available from Films For The Humanities and Sciences in New Jersey. An excellent choice might be VIDEOGRAPHY, its an 8 part series with a text book that covers all the basics. It even refers to the type of equipment you are using. Each episode has a text chapter with an assignment and exercises. You can get it from Peter Hitchcock Productions, Telephone (416) 921-1021, Fax (416) 921-1189. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Mark Ritchie | Tel: (519) 888-4070 Media Librarian | Fax: (519) 888-6197 Audio-Visual Centre | University of Waterloo | Internet: [log in to unmask] "I was just out of college and still believed in classifications and catagories" - Jean Renoir -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
