In order to make certain, though, that all interested parties have a chance to respond by the deadline, I'm encouraging submissions directly. The 1994 ICFA's guest list is already taking shape, and includes Roger Zelazny, Ben Bova, Brian Aldiss, and David J. Skal, author of _Hollywood Gothic_ and _The Monster Show: A Cultural History of Horror_. Also attending the conference will be film/horror scholar Douglas E. Winter. Abstracts and proposals should be 250-500 words. You are welcome to submit proposals for entire sessions or panels as well. Some suggested topics are listed below, although you're certainly not limited to these. The deadline for submissions of abstracts, panels and sessions is October 15, 1993.
