Regarding the availability of Kimba cartoons on tape, I checked the latest
issue of the "Whole Toon" catalog and did not see it listed. This outfit is the
most comprehensive source for the purchase of animation on video and laserdisc
as well as related books and merchandise. They are at: Whole Toon Access, P.O.
Box 369, Issaquah, WA 98027, U.S.A., phone: (206) 391-8747, fax: (206) 391-
9064. As for the Rick Springfield cartoon series, it was called "Mission Magic"
and it was produced by Filmation. Miss Tickle and her high school students
"travel back in time to lans of fantasy. Recording star Rick Springfield, who
plays a trouble shooter, sang his own songs on each program." It premiered on
ABC Sept. 1973 and ran until August 31, 1974 for a total of 16 episodes. This
is according to Jeff Lenberg's "Encyclopedia of Animated Cartoons," (NY: Facts
on File). Happy tooning!
