In respsonse to Mark's question about viewpoint:

It is likely true that a message will always (must always?) have a viewpoint.
What is at issue is whether this viewpoint is >inevitably< the viewpoint of
the producer. I have heard no logical statment to support that notion. One
can make a show that is in complete opposition to what one believes. Could
an anti-abortion filmmaker do a pro-life show? I think so. I suggest that
it might even be a better show since the producer may have better insight
into what drives the anti-abortion side and how these viewpoints might be
overcome.
