Dear Henry: Here's a few more for you: E LA NAVE VA (And the Ship Sails On) by
Federico Fellini, and GOOD MORNING, BABYLON by the Taviani Brothers. Both of
these are about filmmaking in the early days; in fact, D. W. Griffith is a
character in GOOD MORNING, BABYLON. I also think that THE STUNT MAN is the
best film about moviemaking ever made. THE FRENCH LIEUTENANT'S WOMAN is a
film-within-a-film, as is MEPHISTO by Istvan Szabo. If I think of any more,
I'll write again.
