One of the most striking audience sequences is in BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE
SUNDANCE KID, where Butch and Sundance see a movie about themselves and in
which they are shot. THE TINGLER in which a creature gets loose in a movie
theatre and you can see its nasty image behind the screen, and which is
therefore supposed to make the real movie audience feel threatened, is another
