The weekend will be devoted to sharing experience and work in media arts and activism, as well as dissemination of technical information, strategies and plans that can help us use the presses, airwaves, record lables, televisions, fiber-optic lines, etc. without relying on the corporate controlled mainstream media machine. Medianation will be a weekend of workshops, presentations, and discussions aimed at developing the skills needed to access the media as more than just a number in a poll, a blip on a line, a potato on a couch, or a few dollars in a cash register.
