Yeah, I've seen FOOTLIGHT PARADE many times.  Since the choreography/direction
of Berkeley holds a special fascination for me, I've seen the song sequences
of that film many times as well (out of context from the film).
From your original posting, I'm not quite sure what you find to be the
unusual aspects of the film.  Might it be the frank "sexuality" - apparent
in many films beforthe dictatorial hand of the Hayes Office swung over
media in 1934?  Please elaborate and try to be more specific.
