Henry Jenkins makes a good point about Turner Broadcasting. They realize full well the value of their archival prints and, unlike their studio predecessors, they make serious efforts to restore and preserve. I hasten to add that I'm no fan of that abomination known as colorization, but fair is fair. Every time I get really riled about colorization, I think of the superb restoration and re-release of CITIZEN KANE. My understanding is that the negative decayed because of neglect and the restoration was from a fine-grain lavender protection print that was found. -Henry Breitrose
