Sally Waters at Stetson Law Library: Besides all the good suggestions
from other Screen-L users, have  you looked at the section on
"courtroom scenes" in Halliwell's Filmgoer's Companion"? The 9th
edition lists a large number of films, mostly American, with
courtroom scenes.  You might pick up a few more titles that way.
I might also mention a film called MAN OF MARBLE (Andrzej Wajda,
1977), which contains a scene of a rigged trial in Stalinist
Poland in the early 1950s.  It is presented both as an edited
newsreel and, in a different form with much different implica-
tions, as unedited footage.  I'm not sure if it's on video, but
if it is, your students might find it interesting.
