I was recently told at Consol-ing Passions that the Datazine is no
longer. I don't know how true this is thought.

Here is the cite for the Jenkins Article: "It's not a fariy tale
anymore: Gender, Genre, Beauty and the Beast" In Journal of Film and
Video 43.1-2 (Spring-Summer 1991)

Yes I'm interested in the paradies, if they are ftpable just give me
the ftp address and the directory.

Another good book is :The adoring audience: fan culture and popular
media, edited by Lisa Lewis. The copy I have is pre-release though.
Officially paperback version is due out in October. But there might
be someone who knows how to get a hold of some copies. I have my
copy on loan from a prof. who bought it off of Lisa Lewis at a
conference. BTW is the Jeremy Butler she gives thanks to the same
Jeremy who is so knowledgable about Screen-L?
