Well sir, I completely screwed up the explanation of the ACKnowledgement command in my last post. That's what I get for doing it from memory. Please excuse the confusion. If you want to set SCREEN-L so that you will be sent ACKnowledgementsof your messages' reception and distribution, you must send the following to LISTSERV@UA1VM (or UA1VM.UA.EDU, for Internet): SET SCREEN-L ACK Please note, this command must be the first line in your e-mail and it must be sent to LISTSERV, not SCREEN-L, at UA1VM. To cut off the ACKnowledgements, send: SET SCREEN-L NOACK Whew. I think I got it straight this time. ---------- What the great philosophers have said vis-a-vis love (as interpreted by Matt Groening): Love is a perky elf dancing a merry little jig and then suddenly he turns on you with a miniature machine gun. --Kierkegaard ---------- | | Bitnet : JBUTLER@UA1VM | | Jeremy G.
