Papers addressing any issues related to the general topic, based on any conceptual framework and any methodological approach, are welcome. Examples might include critical, discourse analysis and/or content analyses of news coverage, audience surveys, analyses of military policies about the media, and so on. International perspectives are encouraged. The major criterion is that papers should make a significant contribution to our understanding about the nature, roles, impacts, or functions of the media in the context of the Gulf War.
