Hello All, Colorado State University’s Department of Communication Studies is excited to share the call for applications for this year’s NCA Doctoral Honors Seminar, to take place June 7-10 at CSU. The Doctoral Honors Seminar brings together promising doctoral students and distinguished faculty members from across the discipline to present work and discuss current topics in Communication. This year’s theme is “Engaging the Responsibilities of Communication: Research, Teaching, and Communities." More specifically for Screen-L subscribers, please note that we are accepting applications in the area of Media Studies, where we have a fantastic lineup of seminar leaders. A completed application form (which you can find on the application page) 2. A paper (not to exceed 30 pages) that is preparatory for the dissertation or an edited version of the dissertation prospectus. Or if applicant is not at that stage in their doctoral work, a paper that is central to their work. 3. An abstract for the paper, not to exceed 250 words 4. A brief letter of recommendation from the student’s advisor 5.
