*Assistant Professor in Digital Humanities/Computer Science*.  Allegheny
College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the
intersection of the computer sciences and the arts, humanities, and/or
social sciences, beginning in August 2019. Ideal candidates will have a
Ph.D. or MFA or commensurate industry experience in information
technologies, with demonstrated success teaching introductory computer
science courses and an active interdisciplinary research agenda.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in computer
science and in another area of expertise in the humanities and/or social
sciences as well as in the college-wide first-year/sophomore seminar
program. The teaching load is six courses per academic year (with a
one-course reduction in the first year). The chosen candidate will receive
laboratory space for teaching and research and access to funding for
research with students.
