related to the CW television series *Supernatural*.

Join us for the 40h Annual Southwest Popular / American Culture Association
Conference, February 20-23, 2019 at the Hyatt Regency in Albuquerque, New

Extended Proposal submission deadline: *November 15, 201**8**.*

Any and all topics will be considered, although we especially encourage
proposals on:


   Narrative Structure

   Genre conventions

   Fandom/Fan culture

   Representations of socioeconomic class, gender & sexuality, and race &

   Representations of myth, religion, and (urban) legend

   Uses of violence

   Music in the show

   The series’ response to/engagement with metatextuality and/or fandom

   The series longevity/influence

Submit 250-word paper or 500 word panel proposals to the 2018 SWPACA
