In other words, Kathryn Bigelow’s film served propaganda purposes, approving lawbreaking and blatant human rights violations, thereby confusing and suppressing political enlightenment, according to Michael Haas, President of the Political Film Society. Established in 1986, the Political Film Society is headquartered in Hollywood, California.
