REMINDER: The June 1, 2012 deadline is approaching! The Center for the Study of Film and History is pleased to announce the 2012 Award for Best New Film. The award will be presented to the 30-90 minute film (non-fiction or fiction) that best represents the conference theme, "Film and Myth." For more information on the scope of this theme, please consult the Film & History website www.filmandhistory.org. The Film & History editorial staff will evaluate all submissions, and the award for Best New Film will be presented at Film & History’s 2012 conference, which will be held on September 26-30, at the Hyatt Regency, in Milwaukee, WI. The winning film will be screened as part of the gala conference banquet and award ceremony. Additionally, the filmmaker of the winning film will be awarded a $1000 prize, along with a complimentary room at the conference hotel and complimentary conference registration.
