The tornadoes that decimated Alabama on April 27, 2011 came dangerously close to the All Things Acoustic studios. In fact, from our building, one could see a tornado churning past, less than a mile away.

This powerful EF4 tornado reduced brick buildings to rubble, tossed cars and trucks into the air like toys, turned trees into kindling, and destroyed many lives. In Tuscaloosa alone, 41 were killed and, over a week later, seven remain missing. Over 5,000 buildings were ruined -- including a public housing complex -- leaving many without homes.

Parts of Tuscaloosa are still under curfew, with National Guard checkpoints monitoring access.

It is going to be a long recovery and we could use your help.
