There was everyonesacritic.net, but last I checked, there were so many site difficulties that I thought it was about to go under. -----Original Message----- From: Film and TV Studies Discussion List [mailto:[log in to unmask]]On Behalf Of Jennifer Schneider Sent: Wednesday, March 03, 2010 6:52 PM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: [SCREEN-L] film database? Hi everyone, A year or so ago I was having a conversation with someone who told me about an online film database that would make viewing recommendations for you based on a variety of factors. For instance, if you entered Citizen Kane, it would generate a list of "similar" films you might enjoy for a variety of reasons (ranging from Touch of Evil to Network, I guess). It sounded sort of like Pandora for movies. Anyway, does this sound familiar to anyone? I know it wasn't IMDB or Netflix, but I can't for the life of me remember it.
