I'm hoping you might be able to let colleagues, especially in production
programs, know about this once-a-year event. I'm really proud of the
lineup this year; I think it's an extraordinary group of people. Thanks
for any help you can give in letting people know before it's too late!

The Center for Social Media is sponsoring the Making Your Media Matter
conference on Feb. 7-8 here at AU, which is geared towards established and
aspiring filmmakers, non-profit communications leaders, funders and
students looking to learn and share cutting-edge practices for creating
media that matters. The conference will feature panel discussions on the
latest tools and trends in creating and distributing social issue media;
demos of cutting edge practices; networking opportunities as well as the
chance to hear from our keynote speakers, filmmakers Byron Hurt and Sonya
Childress.
