Yet, in many ways the outstanding documentaries of these three giants of Hollywood cinema are unknown and unappreciated by contemporary audiences. Thus, we are inviting submissions on all facets of the documentaries of Ford, Huston, and Wyler, including * Production history * Contribution to the War effort * Social, political, and historical impact * Influence on the filmmaker's future Hollywood films * Contribution to the filmmaker's auteur status * Critical and aesthetic analyses Deadline for submission is July 25, 2006. Individuals must be registered for the Conference before final approval of proposals can be granted.
