The program, taught by Western and Chinese scholars, is aimed at upper-
level undergraduate and M.A. students. Eight mini-courses (equivalent to
120 contact hours) acquaint the students with the history of Chinese
cinema, with critical terms for discussing formal, institutional and
ideological concerns, and with the Asian and global contexts of Chinese
filmmaking. No knowledge of Chinese language is required.

The program cost is $3,000 + registration fee. Please let your students,
as well as any scholarly communities in which you are members, know of the
opportunity.
