CFP: Special Issue of Film Criticism Complex Narratives--due January 15, 2006 Complex Narratives Papers are invited for a special issue of Film Criticism devoted to recent complex narratives. Since Pulp Fiction, numerous films have employed complicated story/plot structures to various ends. Manuscripts should focus on either analysis of individual examples or the phenomenon as a whole. All published essays will, however, do more than describe complex narratives. They will also explain causes for this trend and/or contribute to existing critical approaches for analyzing these narratives. All critical methods are encouraged.
