Please join us for the Fourth International Women and the Silent Screen Conference which will be held at the University of Guadalajara in the beautiful colonial city of Guadalajara, Mexico June 7 through June 10, 2006. The conference will feature three plenary sessions: “Feminist Historiography;” “Gender Matters: The Politics of the Archive;” and “Women and Cinema Across Continents.” In addition, we will screen rare examples of silent Mexican, Latin American, European, and U.S. films.
