TELEVISION: CALL FOR PAPERS 2005 ANNUAL SW/TEXAS PCA/ACA CONFERENCE The ³Television² Area Chair of the SW/Texas Popular Culture Association/American Culture Association invites interested scholars to submit papers on any aspect of television (including TV genres, specific shows, or on the medium itself, etc.) for the 2005 SW/Texas PCA/ACA Conference to be held at the Hyatt Regency Conference Hotel in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico 330 Tijeras Albuquerque, NM 87102 Phone: 1.505.842.1234 Fax: 1.505.766.6710. The Conference will run from February 9 through February 12th, 2005. If you are interested in being a presenter in the Television Area, please send a 100-250 word abstract, including title, through email or regular mail to one of the addresses below (note: regular mail submissions much reach me by the conference deadline!). If using email, you may send this information as a Word attachment or in the body of the email. You may also send your completed paper of not more than 15 minutes reading time, but please do not omit an abstract. In addition, please provide your contact information: name, institutional mailing address (home address if you want materials sent there), phone numbers, and email as well. If you would like to propose a panel of 3-4 related speakers each, please include the following: Panel title Name and contact information for the Panel Chair Titles and abstracts of each paper Contact information for each presenter You may also propose a discussion panel consisting of between 3-6 participants on a specific topic related to television. All presenters must register for the conference.
