Philippe -- If you're interested in the labor movement and broadcasting in the US, check out articles by Elizabeth Fones-Wolf on radio and labor. She's published several, and has a book: Selling Free Enterprise: The Business Assault on Labor and Liberalism (Urbana: University of Illinois Press, 1994) . There's also Nathan Godfried's book WCFL: Chicago's Voice of Labor, 1926-1978 (Urbana: University of Illinois Press, 1997). And have you ever seen the Paul Muni/Michael Curtiz film Black Fury from 1935? Classic WB.
