Can anybody confirm the story of the 28 December 1895 screenings, when viewers ran out of the auditorium upon seeing *The Arrival of the Train at the Station* because they couldn't distinguish between reality and representation? I am asking because when MoMa recreated that evening 100 years later, with the same exact screening schedule, *The Arrival* wasn't among the films shown.
