Editing Position

The University of Texas at Austin Department of Radio-TV-Film seeks to fill
a tenure-track editing position at the Assistant Professor level.
Candidates must demonstrate a strong creative track record in editing and
post-production. Teaching experience is very strongly preferred. Additional
experience in other aspects of the filmmaking process is also highly
valued. Terminal Degree (MFA, PhD) preferred but not required.

The Department of Radio-Television-Film has 22 permanent faculty,
approximately 900 undergraduate majors & 150 graduate students pursuing
Ph.D., M.A. or M.F.A. degrees. RTF offers courses in film & video
production, screenwriting, convergent media research & design, film &
television studies, international communication, telecommunication
technology & policy, gender & sexuality, & ethnic issues in communication.
