Call for Papers--SOCIAL TEXT

The Social Text Collective is pleased to accept papers for a forthcoming
special dossier, organized around questions of Corporate Corruption.
Topics could include: reflections on media coverage of power and money,
public relations, business ethics, and the like; links between corruption
and regulation, ascendant moments of capital, and emphasis of
governmental regime; figurations of corruption in the discourses of
colonial and postcolonial administration, development, labor movements,
global financial institutions; the normalization of greed, stakeholder
values, and the rule of law. Deadline: February 1, 2003.

Papers should be submitted by e-mail if possible, as an attachment saved
in Rich Text Format. The text should be double-spaced, with numbered
endnotes. For style, please follow the Chicago Manual of Style, 14th
edition. The author’s name, affiliation, address and telephone number
should be listed on the front page of each copy. Papers should be sent
