CALL FOR PAPERS "Nuns, Whores, and Wives in Cinema" Society for Cinema Studies Panel Minneapolis, Minnesota, March 6-9, 2003 Proposals due August 31, 2002 This panel invites papers that explore the attempted institutionalization of women's identities and sexuality, and their visual representation (sexualization, prohibition, voyeurism, punishment). In many cases, these institutionalized identities in cinema follow set stereotypes or become confused when entangled with various desires.
