CFP: HITCHCOCK ANNUAL We are pleased to announce the relaunch of the Hitchcock Annual under its new editors: Sidney Gottlieb and Richard Allen. The Hitchcock Annual seeks to publish the best and liveliest in Hitchcock criticism and scholarship. We welcome essays from all theoretical and critical perspectives, including interpretive analyses focusing on particular texts as well as historical or cultural studies of the director's oeuvre and career. We also invite essays examining the cultural and textual influences on Hitchcock's film and television work, and the reception and impact of his work upon other directors, critics, and theorists worldwide. All submissions should follow the Chicago Manual of Style and include two copies of the essay with return postage. Decision time is usually three to four months. Deadline for the next issue is August 1st, 2002.
