We are pleased to announce the relaunch of the Hitchcock Annual under its
new editors: Sidney Gottlieb and Richard Allen. The Hitchcock Annual seeks
to publish the best and liveliest in Hitchcock criticism and scholarship.

We welcome essays from all theoretical and critical perspectives, including
interpretive analyses focusing on particular texts as well as historical or
cultural studies of the director's oeuvre and career. We also invite essays
examining the cultural and textual influences on Hitchcock's film and
television work, and the reception and impact of his work upon other
directors, critics, and theorists worldwide. All submissions should follow
the Chicago Manual of Style and include two copies of the essay with return
postage. Decision time is usually three to four months.

Deadline for the next issue is August 1st, 2002. Manuscripts should be sent
