The Department of Film invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant
Professorship beginning in Fall 2002.

$35,372 - $45,737

Application Deadline:

position is filled.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Duties include teaching courses: Introduction to Production, Digital
Production, Non-Linear Editing, Post-Production: Qualifying Film,
Interdisciplinary Collaborative Process (a graduate course for Program in
Interactive Media Arts). Committee work, administrative duties, student
advisement, supervision of internships and independent study productions,
curriculum development, continuing professional work in film and digital
media.


Qualifications:

M.F.A. or equivalent professional experience in traditional  film and
digital production; professional directing, digital media, and digital
editing credits; undergraduate teaching experience in film and digital
production; strong interpersonal skills; commitment to undergraduate
teaching. (Sample syllabi, reel, personal interview, a demonstration class,
and three strong letters of recommendation will be required of finalists.)
