By featuring youth-made work, Cinematexas acknowledges that contemporary cinema and media culture have expanded beyond the realm of adults through a phenomenal increase in the number of young cultural producers worldwide. Bringing together younger and older filmmakers from different walks of life for mutual inspiration and education, Cinematexas and Cinemakids are devoted to inspiring young media producers and honoring their unique perspectives.
