CALL FOR PAPERS "El Periodo de transcion" Time of Transition: The Boom and Beyond throughout the Americas A regional literary conference for students and faculty Friday, April 6, 2001 You are invited to submit presentation proposals for a grand student-run conference celebrating the Latin American writing movement, sponsored by the English Department at Minnesota State University, Mankato. The conference will focus on the years of the Lating American "boom" period and after (1960-present). We welcome a variety of proposals for panels or individual papers and encourage submission of presentations in Spanish or English. Individual presentations should be no more than 15 minutes long. Panels will consist of no more than 3-4 presenters, with time for discussion. Proposals for papers and/or panels should include the following: Title Abstract (no more than 300 words per presenter) Brief one-paragraphs statement about presenter(s), including academic affiliation and e-mail address. Please indicate any audio-visual requirements.
