I've been told that, as long as I use an original video (as opposed to some duplicate copy or a copy taped from television) in a classroom situation, which is called "face-to-face instruction," and don't charge money for the screening, it's OK. I hope that's good advice because that's what all of us who use film in our courses are doing.
