SACRED HEART UNIVERSITY in Fairfield, Connecticut invites applications for an anticipated tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Media Studies, a liberal arts major that combines the study of media history and theory with media production. Candidate will teach University-wide introductory courses in media studies, video and television production, and topics in the candidate's area of research. Familiarity with non-linear editing systems and/or the ability to teach radio production is also desirable. A strong commitment to excellence in teaching, creative work, and scholarship, and a caring approach towards students is required.
