Hi everyone,

A colleague of mine is teaching a graduate class this fall on Political
Communication, and wanted to devote at least a day to issues of popular
culture. He's looking now for readings. Can anyone recommend an article
or book chapter that discusses political issues in film/TV? I realize this
potentially could be a huge subject, but he's looking for discussions of
politics with a small "p": scholarship that addresses things like popular
culture portrayals of politicians, portrayals of campaigns, or the
influence of popular culture upon political activity.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
