Multi-media web site with FRANK CAPRA panel. Back in 1999, the American Historical Association met in Washington, DC. The FILM & HISTORY panel for that meeting focused on FRANK CAPRA and his legacy. Chairing the FILM & HISTORY session was Robert Toplin. Presenters were Lawrence Levine, the distinguished American studies expert and Dan T. Carter, an author with expertise in Southern politics. Toplin provided an excellent introduction and overview followed by the two other members of the panel. The Journal of Multi-Media History has these talks as part of a section entitled FRANK CAPRA'S AMERICA. http://www.albany.edu/jmmh This event was sponsored by Film & History with many thanks to the participants and to Gerald Zahavi and Susan McCormick of The Journal of Multi-Media History--who have done a marvelous job of multi-media packaging the panel with pictures, text, and sound.
