I'm looking for sources on _The Night of the Hunter_. Can anyone direct me? It's not an easy film to find material written about. The main idea for this paper (in a graduate course) is dealing with Brecht's aesthetic influence over Laughton, which seems much stronger than his political influence. I am very fortunate that there is going to be a local production of _Galileo_ in a couple of weeks at Edyven Repertory Theatre (www.edyvean.org), a theatre that is reliable for producing amateur acting that doesn't look like amateur acting. (Often they cast professional actors who just don't get paid for the particular show--but only the non-equity ones can do that, as I understand.)
