To: Boris Vidovic: Selecting films starring " evil women" depends, of
course, on your definition of "evil". "Manipulative" could be a more
suitable word. However, take a look at the Anne Baxter character Eve in ALL
ABOUT EVE (1950), the Marlene Dietrich character Lola-Lola in THE BLUE
ANGEL (1930, German), the Bette Davis character Regina in THE LITTLE FOXES
(1941) - all classic "villainesses". The film world is littered with these
types of female protagonists, so good luck with your search.
Peter Warren.
