Two new papers from last year's infog99 - a conference on the latest digital developments in screen culture and research, have just been published on the AFI website: They are: "From the vaults to the world - archival moving images in digital domains" by Dr Steve Ricci, Head of Research & Study, UCLA Film & Television Archive and keynote speaker at infog99 (http://www.afi.org.au/randi/infog99/ricci.html) Steve's paper covers the activities of the UCLA Film & Television Archive, with particular focus on the use of digital technologies for improving access and the principal goals and problems pertinent to any new media initiative.
