----------------------------Original message---------------------------- I too was disappointed in Frankenstein. I think your comments relevant. Branaugh did make many changes to the original story, and I want to think through those. Also I think he just didn't take enough time to edit the seams out. I believe he may have been trying to change the focus of the story to show Frankenstein desire to "restore" life, rather than "create" life. But I don't think he was as successful as Coppola was with Dracula (changing the focus to looking for love). Well, we can just all look forward to Interview with a Vampire this week. Maybe it will surprize us.
