Seems like lately we've gone through a spate of personal mail being unintentionally sent to SCREEN-L. Soooooo....a quick reminder: If you get mail from SCREEN-L and hit whatever your system uses for a REPLY key, the message will automatically be addressed to SCREEN-L and, if sent, will go out to all 400 subscribers. This is confusing, I know, because some mail systems identify SCREEN-L mail with the name of the person who originally sent the message to SCREEN-L (i.e., the original poster of the message). This can lead one to think the message came *directly* from the poster instead of from SCREEN-L. The only way I know to avoid embarrassment is to check the TO line or box (or whatever) before you send out any message. It's a small inconvenience but it's an effective prevention of egg-on-face syndrome.
