The Department of Communication and Journalism Auburn University Seeks an Instructor in Mass Communication to begin Spring semester 2004. The position may be renewed. The successful candidate will teach from the following courses: History of American Broadcasting, Media Law and Regulation, Women and the Mass Media, Diversity Issues in the Mass Media, Foundation of Mass Communication, Electronic Field Production, Television Production and Directing, and/or other relevant courses in mass communication. Experience conducting film series and/or film festival also desirable. The candidate selected for this position must be able to meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States at the time appointment is scheduled to begin and must be able to communicate in the language in which courses are to be taught. Completed M.A. or A.B.D. considered with visible progress toward completion of degree within one year. Evidence of excellent teaching is required.
