Film Department of Brooklyn College is the only
public undergraduate department of film production
and film studies in New York City. The department
has over two hundred majors from more than fifty
countries; twelve hundred film majors take courses
in the department each year. The department offers
a B.A. with concentrations in Film Production, Film
Studies, Screenwriting, Film Producing, and Film
