Scott,
The inconclusiveness was, of course, due to the fact that Von Trier
had it in mind to do a sequel, KINGDOM II, which came out last year. I'm
not sure if its on tape yet or not. However there was a "Kingdom" website.
We must find out what happens after the "birth" of Udo Kier...

Subject: Kingdom

>I recently viewed The Kingdom, a horror video about the machinations of a
>Danish hospital. It was orginally a Danish tv mini-series directed by Lars
>Von Trier. The version I saw consisted of two tapes, approximately 139
>minutes each. There were four different parts. At the end of part two and
>the end of part four, Von Trier introduces the closing credits. The
>concluding episode did not seem to be very conclusive, a lot of stories
were
>left dangling. It felt like a cliffhanger episode. What I was wondering
was
>whether this became a regular series on Danish television, or if there are
>any more videos in the series. Thanks for all the help.
