I'm sorry I forgot who originally posted the PAL VCR query, but I
thought you should know that if you buy a PAL VCR, you will also need
a PAL monitor. The VCR will not work with a North American TV unless
it is a multisystem VCR. Be sure to ask your supplier about this.
