KINO is releasing the "30th anniversary reissue of the 1969 avant garde
masterpiece" COMING APART theatrically this summer. The opening date of the
theatrical re-release schedule is June 25 at the Cinema Village, NYC.
We have been working hand-in-hand with Milton Moses Ginsberg at finding the
best possible materials for the film, including the masters for a VHS
version to come out in 2000. We will make theatrical review screeners
available to the public in a few weeks, but these will be released only
with a phone call to KINO's publicty department, and only then with good
reason (i.e., a journalist can't attend a press screening...). A pressbook,
with a narrative and critical synopsis, essay by Ginsberg, and loads of
insight into the film's diabolical layers, will be available to anyone who
asks for it starting mid-May. For more information call KINO PUBLICITY @
212.629.6880.
