The National Association for Humanities Education just sent me a copy
of the call for papers for the bi-annual conference, on March 11-13, in
Jacksonville, FL. I thought it might be of interest for this list.
The theme is "Sounds, Images, Words: Memory and
Anticipation." Topics are welcome in all areas of the humanities,
especially those dealing with interdisciplinary approaches. The
deadline for proposals is Nov. 1, 1998. Send to:
